This Privacy Policy explains how Elicals Edge Private Limited ("Horaskope", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information you share when you use our website and services.

1. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and authentication tokens.
Birth chart data: date, time and place of birth that you choose to provide.
Chat content: messages exchanged with our astrologers.
Payment data: processed by Razorpay. We store only the order ID, amount, status and a masked reference — never card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs.
Device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers and cookies.

2. How we use it

To deliver personalised astrology readings tied to your chart.
To process payments, prevent fraud and meet legal/tax obligations.
To improve our product, debug issues and analyse aggregated usage.
To send service emails and, with consent, marketing updates (you can unsubscribe anytime).

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with vetted processors strictly to run the service:

Razorpay — payment processing
Cloud hosting & database providers — encrypted storage and compute
AI model providers — to generate astrologer responses (chats are sent server-side, not used to train public models)
Law enforcement — only when compelled by valid legal process

4. Data retention

Account and chat data are retained while your account is active. On deletion request, we erase personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal compliance (typically 7 years for invoices under Indian law).

5. Your rights

Access, correct or export your data.
Delete your account and associated chat history.
Withdraw consent for marketing emails.
Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, scoped database access (row-level security), and audited authentication. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

7. Children

Horaskope is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
